I have 2 pair of these scissors. I like then for sewing and snipping threads and also when doing hand work. They are easy to cut threads, and stay sharp.
I purchased several pairs of these thread snippers for myself and as gifts for sewing friends. I keep a pair next to every machine. These are easier on my hands and get really close to the fabric without cutting the fabric.

Of all of the small spring action scissors, this one is the best. I've pretty much tried all of the various choices but keep coming back to these. The blades are precise, the tips are thin for intricate work, seam ripping is quick and accurate, good for removing tags from garments, etc. They were out of stock for a while so now i've purchased 5. If you are looking for this type of scissor then don't even bother with the other ones....this one is the best.
I purchased these in a quilt shop a couple years ago and when I went back to get another pair they were no longer selling them. So glad that I found this website! These are great and a quilters must have!!!
This is the second one I've purchased; the first was during a machine quilting class. I love it for cutting the underneath thread when machine quilting on my domestic machine and wanted one for both of my machines!
I don't know how I ever managed without these scissors. They are perfect when I am hand quilting or when I am at the machine piecing.
