Established in
1987, Tooltron Industries has supplied and developed
specialty hand tools for the, craft, jewelry, pet supply
and and fishing industries.
With a background in metallurgy,
forging and tooling, Thomas Love was contracted out to
corporations to develop and prototype tools for their
industry.
Tooltron was the first to develop
several scissors for the needleart and sewing markets.
They were the Snip-a-Stitch, Angle Kut, Slant & Kut,
Lace-Appliqué, and the Easy-Kut scissor.
In 1998, Tooltron introduced color
acrylic handles on its collection of stainless craft
scissors that quickly became a favorite for craft stores
worldwide with some large corporations showing the
greatest of flattery by replicating some of the Tooltron
products. With this in mind Tooltron always
controlled its price points and quality.
New products are always on the
cutting edge for Tooltron's team of creative designers
who recently added their inspiration by producing a new
line of beading and clay tools.
Tooltron has been featured in
several magazines including CNA, Craftrends, Needlework
and McCall's Quick-Quilts.
